Finance Officer

Mr. Eric Nombare was the acting Finance Officer of Tumu College of Education until in May, 2020 that the Governing Council of the College appointed him as the Finance Officer. He serves as the Chief Financial Advisor to the Governing Council and the College Management.

Mr. Nombare is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana). He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana. He has the final of the Ghana Accounting Technician.

Mr. Nombare holds Master of Business Administration (Finance option) from the University of Cape Coast and Master of Science in Industrial Finance and Investment from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Prior to joining Tumu College of Education, Mr. Nombare had worked at the Ghana Education Service for a decade as a Bursar at both Ullo and Piina Senior High Schools as well as the District Accountant at the Sissala East District Education office.

Mr. Eric Nombare was an Audit Committee member at Sissala West District Assembly and now at Wa East District Assembly as an Audit Committee member. His areas of specialization include financial management, financial reporting and corporate governance at the pre-tertiary and colleges of education bracket.
